I don’t enter many competitions, to do it right takes a surprising amount of time preparing the images, getting them printed, etc, so when I was runner-up in the BIPP regional awards last year I was really pleased.
This year I entered a couple of images and one was judged to be the top image, winning me the Provisional Photographer of the Year award for the South-East region. I can’t tell you how amazing that feels and how honoured I am to receive such recognition from the BIPP.
Can’t wait to see what the future brings…

I am so very pleased to be able to announce that this week I have been awarded Runner-up BIPP SE Region Provisional Photographer of the Year 2015.
The standards required by the British Institute of Professional Photography (BIPP) are really high, so to receive any award is such an honour.
This year all winning entries are being exhibited at the Camera Cafe Gallery in London until Tuesday 17th November. It is such a privilege to see one’s work on display amongst images by some of the best photographers in the country.
If you are in the area then please do pop in and take a look, you won’t be disappointed. If you can’t make it then the images can also be seen on the BIPP web site here.
