I have had to wait a while to share this photo from Elle and Dave’s engagement session in Queen Elizabeth Country Park, but here it is. It was a very cold December morning when we met up for the session. The park was beautiful though, with the low sun shining through the trees taking the edge off the chilly air.
As always, I am really looking forward to the wedding day. Not too long now!
This is the lovely Emma in her boudoir for the day, a hotel in Chichester. Such a friendly lady, it was a pleasure to photograph her. She has a sense of humour a lot like mine, which resulted in fits of giggles and laughter all through the session.
Meeting lovely people like Emma is definitely one of the best perks of being a photographer.
I’m looking forward to seeing what 2018 brings. I will be focussing more on portraits and model portfolio sessions this year. This is hopefully just the first of many posts.
This is my personal favourite photo from a recent shoot for Debbie Leno, a local hair and makeup artist. Our model for the day, despite never having modelled before, was Amy. I think she did a wonderful job and we had a lot of fun working on different looks.
As you may know, Lorna works for a local charity, Y Services, which works with young people in the area. Charities are always looking to get donations to help them provide the support and facilities needed.
What better way to raise some funds than with a sponsored event which also happens to be something you have always wanted to do anyway? So here is Lorna, looking rather small as she abseils down the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth.
She raised over £500 for Y Services and wanted to say a big Thank You! to everyone who sponsored her.
Family outing to the Natural History Museum of Wales in St Fagans. Not been there for a few years so it was really good to go back and look around again. Only problem is that it’s pretty much impossible to see everything in one day so we’re going to have to go back again soon! If you are ever near Cardiff then I highly recommend you pay a visit.
